Airtours Discovery Event: when LUX* gets lacy…

In October, on the rooftop of the LUX* Grand Baie hotel, The Lux Collective hosted a gathering of some 50 of the most successful agency managers in the German-speaking market – a way for the hotel group to reinforce its long-standing partnership with Airtours, one of Europe’s best-known luxury tour operators.

Founded in 2006, the German Airtours brand has established itself as one of Europe’s leading tour operators. Mainly marketed in German-speaking countries, it now boasts a portfolio of 32 ships, 60 tours and some 2,000 luxury hotels – including the LUX* hotels, renowned for their vision of luxury, authenticity and sustainability.

To reiterate the importance of this partnership and consolidate its presence in key European markets, the hotel group organized a colorful event, intended not only as a networking platform, but also as an immersive LUX* hotel experience. To this end, The Lux Collective invited its partners on a culinary tour of its Mauritian resorts.

Amari at LUX* Belle Mare for refined Indian cuisine, INTI at LUX* Grand Gaube for a tasty Peruvian getaway, EAST at LUX* Le Morne for a Thai culinary touch or Ai KISU at LUX* Grand Baie for contemporary Asian cuisine… Known for its gastronomic creativity, the group wanted, through this unfiltered experience, to underline its mission to offer “Life Extraordinary” travel experiences in its 18 hotels, imbued with innovation, sincerity and sustainability.
