On October 8, the Great Place to Work® (GPTW) Best Workplaces Mauritius 2025 Awards ceremony was held at the Royal Green, in the presence of many people, including Patrick Dumoulin, President of Great Place to Work® France and Mauritius. An evening rich in emotion that revealed the best companies to work for on the island!

Founded in the United States in 1992 and established in Mauritius since 2022, the Great Place to Work® label works to create a better society by supporting the managerial and cultural transformation of companies through tailor-made coaching. Present in over 60 countries, the label organizes the annual Best Workplaces Awards to distinguish companies where it’s good to work – an analysis carried out using two ingenious tools.

Firstly, the Trust Index©, containing 59 questions asked of employees on credibility, respect, fairness, pride and conviviality within the company, followed by the Culture Audit©, which assesses the quality and diversity of managerial practices implemented by the company. In Mauritius, 90 companies, representing over 25,000 employees, were assessed in this way. “We had an average response rate to the survey of 75%. This high response rate reinforces the reliability of the results obtained. It’s not just HR data, but a real barometer of the experience of Mauritian employees”, explains Stéphanie Antoine, Country Manager of GPTW Mauritius.

These detailed analyses produced some clear-cut results, which were unveiled and celebrated at the ceremony. In the category of companies with over 250 employees, the Attitude Hotels group took first place for the fourth year running, followed by Hilton Mauritius Resorts & Spa, IHG Mauritius, Mautourco and DHL. In the category for companies with between 51 and 249 employees, EO Solutions topped the podium, ahead of Alludo, ESP Landscapers, ER Property and Ecoasis. Finally, in the category of companies with fewer than 50 employees, newcomer FLO in the ready-to-wear sector came out on top, followed by Flacq Retail Park, Porsche Centre Mauritius, Médecins à domicile and Store 2000.
