The CaudanArts Centre boutique has had a facelift and reopened its doors on 1st December. Managed by the Ë (ex-Electrocaïne) team, it is now called The Storë and offers music and trendy objects … A song, a little sega or a maloya has been rising every day on the floors of the Caudan Arts Centre for some time now, every time a visitor listens to one of the precious vinyl records in the new Ëboutique… The turntables are there for these pure moments of sharing… Some titles from Avneesh’s collection are here for listening only, others are for sale, as are CDs, T-shirts and other mugs, as well as all the objects stamped Art nous oui! Not far away, some thirty small paintings by Mauritian artists (from Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000) are also waiting to become… gifts!
