Jeff de Bruges opens a new boutique in Bagatelle

Two years after opening its first store in Grand Baie, Jeff de Bruges continues to expand in Mauritius and unveils its new address, located in the heart of the island. at Bagatelle Mall, Moka. The boutique welcomed its first visitors at its official inauguration on December 4, 2025, in the presence of Hector Espitalier-Noël Jr, Centre Manager of Bagatelle Mall, Ascencia teams and several guests.

Right from the start, the store attracted a large number of customers. The first 200 customers received a Praliné Amandes Pistaches chocolate bar, one of the year’s new products, with every purchase. An initiative presented as a gesture of appreciation. “Offering bars of Praliné Amandes Pistaches chocolate, which everyone loves at the moment, is our way of saying thank you. Thank you to Mauritians for their loyalty and trust. We’re also proud and happy to be getting closer to Mauritians by setting up shop at the Bagatelle Mall, a must-visit address, a symbol of excellence and conviviality, which perfectly embodies the spirit of our brand”, emphasizes manager Salima Mall.

In addition, the brand is banking on a broader customer experience thanks to a delivery service available across the island. According to its representatives, this is a way of making the world of chocolate accessible without having to travel. With this in mind, the brand says it wants to appeal as much to lovers of fine chocolates as to people looking for personalized gift boxes, especially during the festive season. “We want to offer Mauritians a chocolate experience that is as refined as it is generous, while enabling them to enjoy the company’s latest creations,” she explains.

In the background, the brand reiterates its commitment to sustainable development. Cocoa beans come from Rainforest Alliance-certified plantations in Ecuador. The company also insists on reducing energy and water consumption in the store, recycling and using FSC, PEFC or RPET-certified packaging.
