In 2025, Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB) continues to showcase its innovation prowess! Always striving for cutting-edge solutions, the bank has unveiled its latest developments, designed to further enhance customers’ everyday banking experience.
Whilst the Juice app is already renowned for its practicality, the new version launched in September 2025 promises to be even more impressive! More contemporary, more intuitive, and with a refreshed aesthetic, Juice 5.0 will gradually introduce several new features specifically designed for convenience and performance.
MCB customers will also have the opportunity to ‘tokenise’ their cards to make contactless payments (Juice Tap) directly from their Android phones. This feature, which utilises Near-Field Communication technology, allows users to pay for purchases by simply tapping their mobile phone against the payment terminal. Rather handy, particularly when one has the annoying habit of leaving their card at home!
Instabank: Self-Service Banking Reimagined
Another MCB innovation is Instabank, the new self-service facility available in branches, designed to offer customers complete autonomy in managing their banking operations. Using simply a debit card, users can access a wide variety of services: transfers between accounts, bill payments, mobile top-ups, and much more!
The features present in the Juice 5.0 app will also be integrated into Instabank over the coming months. Already available in the bank’s main branches, the system will soon be accessible in all branches across the country for an even more convenient and efficient banking experience!
