These vehicles are now marketed through Yadea Mauritius, under the aegis of the Tamak Group. According to Emmanuel Tsang Mang Kin, CEO of the group: “It’s a veritable ecosystem around clean transport that’s currently being put in place.” Yadea is present in Port-Louis and at Tribecca Mall.
The three models were presented at a launch ceremony at the Labourdonnais Hotel, attended by ministers, business leaders and industry players. According to Mr. Zhang, Yadea’s Director of Operations for Southern and East Africa: “Our mission is to make electric mobility accessible to everyone – students, professionals, delivery drivers or entrepreneurs. Together, we want to preserve the beauty of this island for future generations.”
