It all started with the ambition of making it easier for buyers and sellers to get in touch with each other, while at the same time providing greater clarity. Twelve years later, the site boasts more than 2,000 online ads and some 200,000 monthly visits, making it an essential channel for any automotive transaction. “This has improved price transparency, reduced sales lead times and professionalized industry practices,” emphasizes Mathieu Jullienne, Manager of Starting Gate Ltd.
More than just a platform, mycar.mu is also constantly betting on innovation, as evidenced by its latest tool: the Mycarculator. “This tool estimates the value of used vehicles based on data collected since 2014, enriched by a machine learning model, generating depreciation curves by make and model,” he explains.
