Set amidst cane fields and at the foot of the old chimney, Mon Rocher has everything it takes to seduce padel enthusiasts. The games are intense and the atmosphere, both dynamic and peaceful, offers players the opportunity to surpass themselves and experience some great moments. The venue is equally suited to experienced sportsmen and women, beginners and youngsters alike.
Emeric Vigier de Latour, Senior Manager – Communication and Marketing explains: “Mon Rocher’s reputation is built on the quality of its infrastructure, the unique atmosphere of the site and its warm welcome. The courts come alive morning and night, to the rhythm of smashes and bandejas. So it’s a good idea to book ahead to be sure of a place.
Players can equip themselves directly in the Pro Shop, where racquets, balls and other state-of-the-art accessories are available. In the store, the needs and level of each player are taken into consideration, with the possibility of testing certain equipment. The premises have already won over a number of players from the North of France, who meet there regularly. But the setting is well worth the detour for those from further afield.
Games often end with a visit to the restaurant. “As well as hosting bespoke events, 1890 Mon Rocher is the ideal place to enjoy a good meal at lunchtime or in the evening, or to organize a meeting or impromptu afterwork with colleagues after a day’s work,” says Emeric. Aperos are also organized every first Thursday of the month.
