Egym: Strength Training 2.0
Have you heard of Egym? Available at RM Club Grand Baie and RM Club Tamarin, this innovative concept aims to revolutionize fitness training! “It’s a simple, effective, safe, and fun circuit designed for beginners and experienced exercisers alike,” says Anne-Sophie Launay, Fitness Manager. While the 8 to 12 machines on the circuit allow you to work your entire body, the beauty of Egym lies above all in its technology! After completing a health and fitness questionnaire and a strength test with a coach, the machines automatically adjust to the required resistance, while settings are adjusted automatically—all you have to do is scan your connected wristband! By alternating between exercise and recovery periods, everyone can track their progress using intuitive screens. “Customers are often very surprised: these machines are so engaging that they make working out fun and less monotonous—with quick results!” says Anne-Sophie.
AiBall: The Flagship of Technology
Padel enthusiasts will be thrilled: a padel court at RM Club Grand Baie and RM Club Tamarin has recently gone “smart” thanks to AiBall. Using two connected cameras, every match is analyzed in detail: smashes, movement speed, shot speed, and other statistics… “Through a special app, users can access an in-depth analysis of their performance and set goals for their next match,” explains Coline Aumard, Rackets Manager. The app not only helps users assess their skill level and the chemistry with their partner, but also allows them to stream matches or rewatch highlights. “Our members love this outside perspective, which ultimately proves to be more accurate than a coach, providing valuable data for improvement,” she says.
