Axess, a subsidiary of the ER Group, is unveiling Velago, a new brand dedicated to car rentals and fleet management. Based in Pailles with 60 vehicles at launch, it primarily targets businesses, but also serves individual customers.
Based in Pailles, Velago is launching with a fleet of 60 vehicles less than three years old, selected from among the brands distributed by Axess. The lineup is extensive: from small city cars to luxury SUVs, including pickup trucks.
Customers can choose between short-, medium-, or long-term rentals. For businesses, this is a way to expand their fleet, meet a one-time need, or ensure the continuity of their operations without investing in vehicle purchases. For individuals, it’s a convenient alternative to car ownership.
Velago also offers companies the option to outsource all or part of their fleet management. Depending on the desired level of service, its teams handle:
- funding;
- maintenance and repairs;
- administrative procedures;
- insurance tracking;
- driver assistance.
This offer consists of two plans, both of which can be tailored to each organization: the Full Maintenance Lease and Maintenance Management. The Full Maintenance Lease, which is also available to individuals, combines the vehicle and all related services into a single monthly payment, providing simple and predictable mobility.
For Christine Bourdet, Business Unit Manager at Velago, the goal is to streamline the day-to-day management of fleets. She summarizes the brand’s approach as four commitments: transparent contracts and costs, available and well-maintained vehicles, 24-hour assistance, and a dedicated point of contact.
“By handling the administrative and operational aspects of the fleet, we enable our clients to conserve their resources and focus on their core business,” she emphasizes.
Vehicles are regularly inspected and maintained. In the event of a breakdown, a replacement vehicle is provided to minimize disruptions to operations.
Velago draws on Axess’s resources, including its in-house workshops for maintenance, repairs, and replacement parts, as well as a network covering the entire island. Customers also receive assistance in choosing the plan that best suits their needs.
