Women’s world golf on the Mauritian green

120 professional women golfers from some twenty countries will take part in the MCB Ladies Classic – Mauritius, scheduled from 1er to May 3, 2026. It will also be the first event of the prestigious Ladies European Tour in the Indian Ocean. It will take place on the Legend course at Constance Belle Mare Plage. ZA

For Jean-Jacques Vallet, CEO of Constance Hospitality, this world-class event will above all showcase the natural beauty and unique charm of Mauritius as a premier golf destination. “Broadcast to millions of golf enthusiasts and lovers around the world, it will showcase the excellence of our golf courses at Constance Belle Mare Plage and our expertise in organizing major sporting events,”he says.

Bordered by white sand and surrounded by lush tropical gardens, it will provide a stimulating challenge for players and an unforgettable spectacle for golf enthusiasts from all over the world.

Participants will compete in a 54-hole stroke play competition, with €400,000 at stake. Part of the worldwide Ladies European Tour calendar, which is played in over 20 countries on five continents, the MCB Ladies Classic will award points towards the Order of Merit, the official world ranking for women’s golf, and qualification for the Solheim Cup.
