LUX Grand Baie has just celebrated the first edition of its brand new annual music festival. The results lived up to the international talent on the bill!<\/p>\n
At the beginning of March, on the initiative of gallery owner and Adamah Fine Arts founder Serge Patetta, and in collaboration with Necker Gestion Priv\u00e9e, Phoenix Bev and Roche Bobois, the event offered spectators the alchemy of the classical musical duo formed by French soprano Julie Cherrier Hoffmann and maestro Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chaslin.
\nThe lyric singer, who holds a degree in musicology, is a multiple finalist in international competitions and has won first prizes at the Conservatoire de Nancy in singing, harp and chamber music, and is now a member of the Acad\u00e9mie Nationale Sainte-C\u00e9cile in Rome. The distinguished conductor, composer and pianist, published by Universal Edition in Vienna (with over 250 masterworks), is Music Director of the Santa Fe Opera in the USA, among other prestigious positions.
