This marked the start of the A380&#8217;s new daily service to the island &#8211; the first destination in Africa to welcome it. From the following year, the rotation becomes twice-daily!  <\/p>\n<p>A veritable catalyst for local tourism growth, Emirates has already carried over five million passengers to the island in the world&#8217;s largest commercial aircraft.
