S\u00e9bastien’s atypical career path has led him to the success of Food Boutik! Driven, like the rest of his family, by a lifelong passion for cooking, he opened his business in 2020, “to offer tasty takeaway meals that are home-cooked, easy to reheat, healthy and affordable”. <\/b>Delphine Raimond<\/i><\/p>\n
S\u00e9bastien left school at 18, joined Club Med for five years and travelled… While working in sales positions across Europe, he decided to move to Mauritius, the same year as his parents, in 2013. The early days were difficult, as his job in industrial painting didn’t appeal to him! “My life no longer had any flavor, I was unhappy. Then cooking came to me, but I wanted to train properly!” Several years of on-the-job training taught him the rigor and techniques of baking, pastry-making and snacking, a field he chose to develop on his own, in order to express his creativity. <\/p>\n
Under the watchful eye of his mentor, the excellent cook Brigitte maman, S\u00e9bastien deploys his talents, in a wonderful spirit of sharing. Here, the artisan caterer shares his recipes and secrets… his broths, soups and fragrant sauces, simmered dishes and desserts… This small – almost hidden – address offers northern gourmets balanced, affordable home cooking; a reputation built on consistency, variety, price and the owner’s sincere friendliness. “My aim is not to become rich, but to continue to provide the best value for money to my customers and meet their expectations as best I can. I want to make a difference in people’s lives!”
