A promising competition for years to come! <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Launched by AXYS (with thirty years&#8217; expertise in portfolio management in Mauritius), this tournament has now enriched the island&#8217;s golf offering, with an innovative, collegiate concept. Spread over four months, the mixed sporting event took place over five rounds of individual <i>stableford <\/i>. The first four &#8211; at Anahita Golf Club (June 24), The Nine by Azuri (July 15), Ile aux Cerfs (July 29) and Constance Golf Links (August 19) &#8211; were <i>shotgun<\/i> rounds in the morning, before players gathered for a convivial lunch. The final on September 29 took place in the afternoon at Anahita Golf Club, followed by a grand prize-giving ceremony.   <\/p>\n<p>The winners of the Ordre du M\u00e9rite category, Brice Roehrig &#8211; best net score &#8211; and Emmanuelle Champion Pricco &#8211; best gross score &#8211; were respectively awarded a year&#8217;s membership of the five partner golf courses and a trip for two to Rodrigues.<\/p>\n<p>If the enthusiastic testimonials from all participants are anything to go by, this first opus was a success, combining impeccable organization, attentive teams and a sporting spirit fused with a desire to have fun; the perfect balance to arouse the enthusiasm of golfers, who are already certain to sign up for the second edition!
