It would not be surprising, for example, if a forthcoming painting evoked <span class=\"s1\"><i>Crime and Punishment <\/i><\/span>which she was reading when she spoke to us. Muse-women rub shoulders with flowers in full bloom or still lifes. Mirrors of thoughts and feelings, imaginary landscapes and abstracts invite meditation. Occasional references to the great masters appear, such as Klimt&#8217;s <span class=\"s1\"><i>The Three Ages of Woman<\/i><\/span>or Brancusi in a painted reinterpretation of his <span class=\"s1\"><i>Baiser<\/i><\/span><br \/>\n The common denominator in all this would be to illustrate the complexity of being and of life. &#8220;Each time I explore a theme, I end up with an aspect of my inner labyrinth. It&#8217;s this journey that counts for me. After that, the canvas no longer belongs to me.&#8221; She always starts with a sort of chaos of colors and techniques, from which she will draw shapes and a composition.     <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Lux Gambart likes to work on commission, the latter becoming the constraint that gives rise to expression. She has just delivered a large-scale piece entitled <span class=\"s1\"><i>Les b\u00e2tisseurs<\/i><\/span>an abstract landscape in which the glowing colors of autumn mingle with the gray and white of architectural structures. In front of them, dark waters symbolize the toil and sacrifice that preceded their erection.
