Aimed at toddlers, Mes jolies petites mains was first and foremost born of an observation: a lack of age-appropriate content on the local market. Thanks to her professional background, Virginie Zarour is very close to the sensitivities and needs of toddlers.

“Since she is immersed in the world of childhood, Virginie wanted to create a book that would emphasize the sensory exploration of the young child, which is the basis for learning and discovering the world during this period,” explains Séverine Martial, director of Namma Éditions. For her part, Caroline Semonella Martial, artist-painter and creator of the Filigrane workshop, infused the book with beautiful, bright colors, full of lightness and life – the perfect symbolization of this tender age!

While this new book, designed to accompany toddlers in their first moments of wonder, is a first for the island, the young publishing house has no intention of stopping there. “Eventually, we’d like to be able to create a whole collection to accompany young children in their daily lives and put words to their new discoveries,” adds Séverine.
