Since 2020, Espace Maison has opened an Espace Maison Pro section, entirely dedicated to construction and other major works. Present in stores in Forbach, Tamarin, Flacq, Beau Vallon and Trianon, its aim is simple: to make a myriad of products more accessible to simplify the lives of Mauritians. Maita Hippolite, head of Espace Maison Pro in Tamarin, tells us more. <\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Espace Maison thinks big: sensitive to the needs of its customers, six years ago the company set up an area dedicated to major works. The idea is to offer customers a wide range of products. Cement, rock sand<\/i>, macadam, iron bars, planks, plywood<\/i>… Its Pro department doesn’t stop at the basics, and boasts numerous other sections: plumbing, electricity, prefabricated paving, fencing, paint, aluminum joinery, ladders, concrete mixers, generators… A veritable all-in-one hardware store, mixing local products and imported brands! <\/p>\n

For Maita, it’s all about making life easier for the customer, whoever they may be. “This space has been designed for contractors who need large volumes, as well as individuals who take care of small jobs at home”, she says. Indeed, for the latter, products such as rock sand<\/i> and macadam are also available in 20 kg bags, as opposed to the 300 kg and 500 kg ” big bags<\/i> ” for professionals – who are also entitled, on registering, to a welcome gift, i.e. a 10% reduction on their invoice. Bonus: Espace Maison offers an island-wide delivery service starting at Rs 500<\/span>. <\/p>\n

At the heart of Espace Maison’s philosophy: practicality. “We want to offer a complete service, so that when our customers come to us, they can find everything they need, whether for exterior or interior work,” emphasizes Maita. With a catalog of over 200 products, the company, which aims to position itself as a leader in the DIY category for heavy-duty work and as a benchmark wholesaler, also intends to strengthen B2B relations. Accessibility for all is the watchword: open weekdays and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Sundays and public holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Espace Maison keeps its promise! <\/p>\n
