In 2025, Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB) has no shortage of ingenuity! Always on the lookout for innovation, we’re unveiling our latest innovations, designed to further enhance our customers’ day-to-day experience.
If the Juice application is known for being particularly practical, the new version, launched in September 2025, promises to be even more so! More modern, more intuitive and with a revised aesthetic, Juice 5.0 will gradually introduce several new features specially designed for convenience and performance.
MCB customers will also be able to “tokenize” their card for contactless payments (Juice Tap) directly from their Android phone. This feature, which uses Near-Field Communication technology , enables customers to pay for their purchases simply by bringing their cell phone close to the payment terminal. Especially handy when you have the annoying tendency to forget your card at home!
Instabank: self-service reinvented in branches
Another MCB innovation is Instabank, the new self-service device available in branches, designed to give customers total autonomy in managing their banking operations. Thanks to a simple debit card, users can access a whole range of services: transfers between accounts, bill payments, mobile top-ups, and much more!
The functionalities present in the Juice 5.0 application will also be integrated into Instabank over the coming months. Already available in the bank’s main branches, the device will soon be accessible in all branches nationwide for an even more convenient and rapid banking experience!
