On January 28, 2026, Made in Moris presented the 40 companies that make up the 2026 cohort of its En Route Vers Made in Moris (ERVM) program. This third edition confirms the success of a free support model that has already enabled 65 brands to obtain the label, representing cumulative sales of over 850 million rupees.
Since October 2023, the program has met with remarkable enthusiasm: 267 applications received and 69 companies supported, resulting in 65 Made in Moris-labeled brands! The first two cohorts are showing eloquent results: completion rates of 90% in 2024 and 85% in 2025, with labeling rates of 92% and 94% respectively.
This year, 97 new companies applied and 40 were selected, mainly from the agri-food (12), industrial (12) and textile (7) sectors, as well as the cultural, creative and digital sectors (5), services (3) and agriculture (1).
“En Route to Made in Moris illustrates what a well-structured public-private partnership can achieve when it is founded on trust, rigor and a shared vision,” points out Shirin Gunny, CEO of AMM and Made in Moris.
Minister Damry, present at the presentation ceremony, reiterated the government’s ambition: “The Prime Minister has decreed 2026 as the year of the economy. SMEs are the real lifeblood of our economy, employment and inclusive progress.”
The program offers participants 65 hours of training, 4 hours of diagnostics, 18 hours of personalized coaching, as well as masterclasses and networking events. Workshops cover key topics such as standards, quality, operations, productivity, human resources, branding and sustainability.
“This methodology has enabled the participating SMEs to exploit their full potential, boosting sales for some and opening up international markets for others,” explains Yann Charlotte, Operations Manager at Made in Moris.
Entirely free of charge, the program is financed by Made in Moris, with the support of the Ministries of Finance and Industry, as well as the MCB, which finances the first year of membership for approved companies. A strategic investment to strengthen Mauritius’ entrepreneurial fabric over the long term!
