This pioneering initiative has been developed in partnership with the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), ranked as the best hotel school in the world. Based close to The Ravenala Attitude, in Balaclava, this academy is the first of its kind in Mauritius. It is based on the Swiss standard of professional training, internationally recognized for its high standards, rigor and practical focus. Of the 60 participants in this first class, 95% are Mauritians, illustrating the Attitude Group’s ambition to strengthen local skills over the long term and prepare the future of the Mauritian hotel industry.
The Attitude Academy VET by EHL offers three professional training courses: Culinary, Food & Beverage Service and Hotel Rooms Division. The pedagogical model is based on a sandwich system, with 80% practical training in a hotel environment and 20% theoretical courses, enabling immediate application of the skills acquired. The program also emphasizes interpersonal skills such as empathy, rigor, a sense of service and leadership.

Entirely financed by Attitude and accessible on a paid basis, this training leads to a professional diploma after 18 months. Beyond immediate employability, the Attitude Academy VET by EHL aims to train a new generation of committed, competent professionals, proud to uphold the values of authentic, responsible hospitality.
