Every year, the month of October is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer through the international “Pink October” campaign. According to the World Health Organization, up to 2.3 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. The campaign aims, in particular, to promote education, prevention, and early detection. At RM Club, talks will be organized in partnership with Link to Life, focusing on prevention and women’s health. The NGO supports people living with cancer and their families, while also conducting awareness and early screening initiatives. Solidarity will also be a key focus, with donation boxes set up in the clubs, allowing members and visitors to contribute to this cause.
This initiative will take place at RM Club’s four locations in Mauritius: Grand Baie and Tamarin, as well as the Azuri and Anahita studios. Through this campaign, RM Club aims to transform its spaces into venues for raising awareness, fostering dialogue, and promoting solidarity around women’s health, by combining physical activity with collective engagement. Both the Grand Baie and Tamarin locations offer a wide range of sports and wellness activities: fitness, group classes, padel, tennis, pickleball, badminton, table tennis, swimming, rock climbing, and eGym. The Grand Baie club also features a Hyrox area, a 5-a-side soccer field, a 25-meter heated pool, a baby pool, two restaurants, and areas dedicated to children and teens. Tamarin also offers a heated pool, a restaurant, and clubs for children and teens.
