Launched in 2017 by the Barbadian star, Fenty Beauty has made inclusivity its hallmark. Its standout feature? Foundations designed for all skin tones. In Mauritius, 40 shades are available. That means everyone can find the perfect match on an island where skin tones are as diverse as the cultures!
To celebrate this launch, an event was held on October 8 at N’JOY in La Cuvette, Grand Baie. Influencers, content creators, beauty professionals, and journalists attended the evening event organized by Koko Creative Studio. The Fenty Beauty Middle East team even made the trip all the way to Mauritius. The event featured a masterclass by Hans Dax, Fenty Beauty’s official makeup artist in Mauritius, areas to test the products, and a shade-matching workshop to help guests find their perfect shade.
The brand’s message is simple. “We use beauty however we please. Some days we feel like wearing makeup, other days we don’t. There are no rules,” says Weam Bkhou, General Manager of Fenty Beauty Middle East. At Fenty, makeup is always a choice, never an obligation. And the brand also has its own local faces: four Mauritian ambassadors were chosen by Fenty Global to represent the brand on the island!
