Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is the most important celebration of the year in China and in Chinese communities around the world. From February 15 to 22, La Croisette offers a week of festive and cultural events open to all.

In a spirit of sharing and discovery, the mall will be showcasing Chinese traditions through a varied program. The festivities kick off at noon on February 15 with a cultural show highlighting traditional arts. On February 17, starting at 11 a.m., children will be able to take part in a range of creative activities linked to the celebration, with a Kids Craft Corner hosted by Live Events Planner.

On the 20th, from 7pm onwards, the LED Loulou Show, a performance combining technology and visual staging, is the place to be. February 21 promises to be one of the highlights of the event. From 5.30pm, a parade of dragons and lions will enliven the center, followed at 7pm by a grand spectacle featuring dragon dances, traditional dances, wushu demonstrations and a drum show.

Finally, on February 22, the event will take on a more sensory and soothing dimension, with calligraphy workshops and a Chinese tea tasting from midday. “Through this program, we want to create moments of encounter between cultures, promote discovery and encourage sharing with family and friends,” declares La Croisette management.

The decoration of the center, delegated to Live Events Planner, promises magnificent nods to the richness of Chinese culture and the Chinese New Year! This event is the latest in a long line of cultural events at La Croisette, confirming the company’s commitment to offering visitors a variety of experiences throughout the year.
