La Rivière, between nature and gastronomy

Next door, the Tamarin River murmurs in echo to the birds that enliven the tranquil setting. In the shade of parasols, in a chic, rustic setting, classic Franco-Italian cuisine is sublimated in this exceptional setting. At the bar, signature cocktails combine freshness and spice. ZAK

It’s all there for a magical moment at La Rivière. In this corner of Tamarin, the atmosphere has remained authentic, as if preserved by the black stone wall that resists the flow of water. The magic is also in the dishes. The land-sea menu, presented on a slate, is an invitation to continue immersing yourself in this timeless universe.

Beef bavette rubs shoulders with carpaccio, tagliata, burger and other chicken and duck classics. Curious gourmets can also indulge in venison stew with pappardelle and other local game, if the chef so wishes. Seafood comes in a variety of flavors: tartare, mi-cuit, filet or cassolette. Pasta and risotto dishes are based on revisited old-fashioned recipes.

At the bar, the classics are there, but it’s the signature cocktails that really stand out. Spice-infused rum, tequila, gin or vodka blended with chilli, other liqueurs or fruit: all creations that bring back regulars every week and contribute to the great atmosphere !

Behind the new face of the former Poivrier, Louis Bagatta and Arthur Teysseder set out to offer a unique gastronomic experience in the West. At the helm of La Rivière since June 2025, they also offer events to unite a community, such as the Solar Tribe, where music and artistic expression combine to bring the premises to life. The restaurant can also be privatized for parties and celebrations.
