Founded in 1975 in Belle Mare, Constance Hotels & Resorts marks half a century in business this year. The group, which began with a single hotel, has gradually grown to become a regional player in the upscale hotel sector.
Today, Constance Hotels & Resorts boasts nine establishments in five Indian Ocean destinations: Mauritius, Rodrigues, Seychelles, Maldives and Madagascar. Its first property, the Constance Belle Mare Plage, has become a benchmark five-star resort with two golf courses and eight restaurants. Its sister brand, C Resorts, based in Mauritius and Rodrigues, targets a younger clientele in search of informal experiences, while maintaining the Group’s quality standards.
For its golden jubilee, several internal and external events were organized during October and November 2025. On the program: gastronomic dinners, meetings with winemakers, and employee days. The aim is to showcase the Group’s history and those who have contributed to it. A campaign entitled “Where the Heart Stays” accompanies this commemoration, highlighting the human links, emotions and lives that have woven the history of this group that has become a benchmark of hotel excellence in the region.
