For the past 12 years, Espace Maison Gros Cailloux has been serving residents and visitors in western France. A true institution in the gardening world, the store offers a comprehensive selection of over 14,000 items! True to its commitment to innovation, the store has begun a renovation and will unveil its new look at the end of July… A transformation we can’t wait to see!

Since 2014, Espace Maison Gros Cailloux has established itself as the go-to destination for gardening supplies in Mauritius. And yet, it’s much more than just a specialty store; the retailer also offers a wide selection of cleaning products, watering accessories, gardening tools, DIY supplies, pool equipment, and pet food. The range of products is extensive, and the brands carried are internationally recognized: Gardena, Ferro Bulloni France, Cerland, Weber, Royal Canin…

“We don’t just sell products—we also assist our customers by providing advice and solutions tailored to their needs,” says Olivier Bellejambe, Branch Manager of Espace Maison Gros Cailloux. Whether it’s recommending the best plants for the season, creating a design proposal based on a photo, or simply selecting the most suitable products—the goal is simple: to bring everyone’s dreams to life!

As part of its commitment to continuous improvement, Espace Maison Gros Cailloux began a complete renovation of its store in June to optimize the customer experience and create an even more pleasant work environment for the branch’s employees. “We’ve worked on showcasing our product offerings and designed open spaces where products are even easier to access,” he adds. To that end, 1.40-meter-high shelves were installed to highlight the items most popular with customers while making the aisles easier to navigate.

New signage has also been installed to make it easier to find your way around the store and thus improve traffic flow, while the checkout area has also been redesigned and modernized. “We’re also planning to redesign the landscaping in front of the store, with low-growing plants that will open up the storefront and make it more visible from the road,” explains Olivier. These new features promise an enhanced customer experience, much to the delight of both regulars and first-time visitors!
